The Eagles put a flag in the ground for Jalen Rivers, 168 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Getting Warren where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
