Kiyoshi Sabers DRAFTING FOR THEEagles

FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Eagles, and a B- to prove it. The Eagles spent real capital to be 168 picks early on Jalen Rivers, and the board is going to hold them to it. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
They banked enough surplus on Loveland to cover a lot of smaller sins. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick39
Rnd2
Colston Loveland
Colston Loveland in Round 2, Pick 7 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick42
Rnd2
Tyleik Williams
They took Tyleik Williams at par in pick 42, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick94
Rnd3
Denzel Burke
A big swing on Denzel Burke at No. 94, well ahead of any board in the building. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick110
Rnd4
Smael Mondon Jr.
Smael Mondon Jr. in pick No. 110 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick134
Rnd4
Malachi Moore
A straight-up fair deal on Malachi Moore at the Round 4 slot, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick148
Rnd5
Trevor Etienne
A clean, defensible pick in the 148th overall pick with a little surplus value in Trevor Etienne. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick161
Rnd5
Dont'e Thornton Jr.
A wild overpay on Dont'e Thornton Jr. in No. 161, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick164
Rnd5
Que Robinson
This one needs a full-page explanation: Que Robinson in pick 164, miles early. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick165
Rnd5
Garrett Dellinger
Value said wait; Garrett Dellinger in pick No. 165 says they were not listening. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick168
Rnd5
Jason Marshall Jr.
Jason Marshall Jr. at slot 168 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick200
Rnd6
Jalen Rivers
Jalen Rivers at Round 6, Pick 24 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
