The tape said wait; the Eagles did not. Dont'e Thornton Jr. went at slot 161, a good 22 picks before the board was ready.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Mukuba at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
