Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B+
ValueA NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureD
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Eagles and Heldt: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Will Heldt tumbling to the Eagles in the 244th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Justin Jefferson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Ellis Robinson IV
In No. 21 they get a potential shutdown corner at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick26 Rnd1 Will Echoles
In the 26th overall pick they get a run-stuffing presence up front, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick47 Rnd2 Yhonzae Pierre
They barely believed it either: Yhonzae Pierre still on the board at pick 47. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick97 Rnd3 KJ Duff
A wide receiver of that caliber at slot 97 is the definition of value, full stop. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick123 Rnd4 Carter Smith
Carter Smith in the 123rd pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick150 Rnd5 Keon Sabb
Keon Sabb at pick No. 150 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick157 Rnd5 Dante Moore
The board fumbled Dante Moore all the way to Round 5, Pick 19, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick162 Rnd5 Kewan Lacy
Steal is underselling it; Kewan Lacy at the Round 5 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick167 Rnd5 Jamari Johnson
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Jamari Johnson in Round 5, Pick 29, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick229 Rnd7 Omarion Miller
They will replay Omarion Miller at pick 229 for years; that is how good the value is. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick236 Rnd7 Kelley Jones
Kelley Jones at the 236th overall pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick244 Rnd7 Will Heldt
They robbed the room for Will Heldt here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick249 Rnd7 Rasheem Biles
Rasheem Biles in the 249th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
