The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The Eagles clearly saw something nobody else did in Barryn Sorrell, taking him 130 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Skattebo. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
