Larceny in the 147th overall pick lands the 49ers a B, Mondon Jr. and all.

The 49ers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Smael Mondon Jr. fell into No. 147. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Lampkin has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
