The Bears let Williams fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Call it larceny. Kyle Williams sat on the board until the 235th overall pick, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
