The search is over. The Bears handed the keys to Michael Penix Jr., and the whole operation now runs on his development. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will need Cohen to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

However the rest shakes out, Kinchens at that price is a win they earned.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
