The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Every board in the league had Cole lower, and that gap is the story. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
