The Brandon Coleman pick is the one that will follow the Bears into the fall. They took him 54 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
