Draft Grade — Browns
Overall

The Browns checked most of the boxes and earned a B-. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Omar Cooper Jr., 33 picks early at pick 24.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick6
Rnd1
David Bailey
David Bailey at the Round 1 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick24
Rnd1
Omar Cooper Jr.
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a matchup problem out wide, though the board says they badly overpaid. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick39
Rnd2
Jake Golday
Jake Golday at slot 39 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
