Draft Grade — Bengals

Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Bengals. Every other box got a look, but cornerback did not. The Bengals will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
Styles has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick10
Rnd1
Sonny Styles
In the Round 1 slot they get a three-down second-level presence, even if it was a touch early. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick41
Rnd2
Caleb Banks
Caleb Banks at Round 2, Pick 9 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
