The Commanders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Henderson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Commanders indulged a want in Stover while a need in tight end and running back stayed open.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
