Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jalen McMillan got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at pick 141. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If Brooks pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
