The Commanders pounced the moment Steve Linton slipped to slot 225, and it is the smartest thing they did all weekend.

They are betting Barner proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
