The Jaguars did not so much draft Jackson Powers-Johnson as overpay for him, 34 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
