The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Colts watched Jack Nelson slide 62 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Every board in the league had Higgins lower, and that gap is the story. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.

The Mike Hughes deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
