Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bills a B-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Shaun Dolac in Round 6, Pick 30, a good 132 spots before the room expected him. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Malaki Starks
In No. 30 they get a centerfielder for the defense. A real need, handled.
Pick56 Rnd2 Donovan Ezeiruaku
Donovan Ezeiruaku at Round 2, Pick 24 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the edge rusher. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick67 Rnd3 Azareye'h Thomas
They read the board right and Azareye'h Thomas was the payoff at pick 67. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick94 Rnd3 Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo at the 94th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick109 Rnd4 Andrew Mukuba
Andrew Mukuba in pick No. 109 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick132 Rnd4 Kyle McCord
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Kyle McCord at the 132nd pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick170 Rnd5 Fadil Diggs
They talked themselves into Fadil Diggs at No. 170, and the board did not agree. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick173 Rnd5 Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue at slot 173 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick177 Rnd6 Alijah Clark
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Alijah Clark. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick206 Rnd6 Shaun Dolac
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Shaun Dolac well ahead of where he belonged. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
