The tape said wait; the Giants did not. Oluwafemi Oladejo went at the 103rd overall pick, a good 125 picks before the board was ready.

That Starks pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. They went 8 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
