More right than wrong for the Chargers, and a B- to prove it.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Chargers took Cooper Mays at pick 220, roughly 72 spots before his name belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
