The Giants looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Dominic Zvada at the 224th pick regardless, 65 picks early. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Johnson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. With offensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.
