No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Cardinals.

There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They banked enough surplus on Newton to cover a lot of smaller sins. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
