You can draft well and still miss the point. The Lions did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to linebacker, which was the need that mattered most.

The Turner value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Reaching for Haynes left real value on the table behind him.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
