Grand theft in slot 251: the 49ers steal Flournoy and grade out a D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The 49ers shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

If Davis pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Flournoy at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.

In Round 1, Pick 5 they get a matchup weapon at tight end. A real need, handled.
Pick26 Rnd1 Byron Murphy II
They read the board right and Byron Murphy II was the payoff at pick 26. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick31 Rnd1 Nate Wiggins
In the 31st pick they get a press-man option on the boundary, and a steal at that. Need was not the driver here.

Steal is underselling it; Jordan Morgan at the 56th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
