Cmoofsono DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

ValueB+
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
Bentley should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B-. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Seahawks walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
Bentley at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Reaching for Perkins Jr. left real value on the table behind him.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Jermod McCoy
In slot 32 they get a ballhawk on the outside, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.
Pick64
Rnd2
Antonio Williams
Antonio Williams in the Round 2 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick96
Rnd3
Harold Perkins Jr.
The board had cheaper options than Harold Perkins Jr. at the 96th pick, and it noticed. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick211
Rnd6
Dallen Bentley
Dallen Bentley at pick No. 211 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It fills a real need, too.
