Call it larceny. Ephesians Prysock sat on the board until pick No. 207, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had World lower, and that gap is the story.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
