A costly weekend of dealing drags the Buccaneers to a D-. The tape said wait; the Buccaneers did not. Jamari Lyons went at No. 239, a good 91 picks before the board was ready. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. It is not that Styles is a bad player; it is that the Buccaneers had louder needs to answer first. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
The Neal steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
