Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Chiefs never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

The cost of the Schrader reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
