The Raiders answered their biggest question with Mendoza. Grade: B+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

Payton has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
