The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Lions watched Jordyn Tyson slide 209 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Fernando Mendoza is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
