The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.

The McCormick pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Nubin.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
