The Commanders bet the future on Maye. The board says A-. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Commanders' quarterback, full stop. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Getting Cox where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. If Powers-Johnson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Bottom line, with Drake Maye leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
