After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

Getting Gray where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with wide receiver, cornerback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
