A masterclass at the trade table lands the Giants a B-. Nobody else had CJ Baxter anywhere near the 190th pick. The Giants did, by 132 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
That Johnson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
It is not that Sabb is a bad player; it is that the Giants had louder needs to answer first. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
