The Steelers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Steelers shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while quarterback, edge rusher and other spots went begging. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
