No fireworks, just a tidy B for the 49ers.

The Khristian Boyd pick is the one that will follow the 49ers into the fall. They took him 44 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Melton steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
