Grand theft in the 144th overall pick: the Browns steal Trigg and grade out a B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Browns came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Trigg at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. If Jefferson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Jawaan Taylor gives the group a proven body among the projects.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
