Nobody had Desmond Watson this high, and it is not close. The Bills reached 52 spots to get him at the 177th pick. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Getting Watts where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
