Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Cowboys came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

If Conner pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
