The Bills did not so much draft Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins as overpay for him, 222 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Mondon Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
