The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Caleb Williams, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

They will need Smith to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
