A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bills a B-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bills spent slot 131 on Elijah Roberts, a name most had 43 spots down the list. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

On value alone, Brown makes the weekend a net positive. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
