The Commanders won the night they stopped Latham from sliding. Grade: A-.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Commanders, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. Latham at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The cost of the Stover reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In the end it comes back to JC Latham, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
