The Buccaneers clearly saw something nobody else did in Johnny Wilson, taking him 33 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Watson.

Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
