A costly weekend of dealing drags the Browns to a C.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Browns spent the Round 6 slot on J.J. Weaver, a name most had 195 spots down the list. For now it grades a C, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

The Brown steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Bassa pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with tight end still on the board.

So much rides on Luther Burden III that the real verdict is a season or two away.
