There is reaching, and then there is Jordan Jefferson at the 134th pick. The Bills jumped the board by 49 and dared it to prove them wrong.

They banked enough surplus on Rosengarten to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
