The tape said wait; the Bills did not. Tyler Harrell went at Round 6, Pick 27, a good 150 picks before the board was ready.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. With linebacker, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
