Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The Bills won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B+.

Nobody had Richard Jibunor this high, and it is not close. The Bills reached 131 spots to get him at No. 206. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

Adding Aaron Donald by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick60 Rnd2 Xavier Legette
They will replay Xavier Legette at slot 60 for years; that is how good the value is. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick99 Rnd3 Brenden Rice
Brenden Rice at pick No. 99 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick128 Rnd4 Matt Goncalves
Steal is underselling it; Matt Goncalves at No. 128 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick162 Rnd5 Malik Mustapha
Malik Mustapha in Round 5, Pick 26 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick165 Rnd5 Braelon Allen
Braelon Allen in the 165th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick197 Rnd6 Jaylin Simpson
Jaylin Simpson in pick 197 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick202 Rnd6 Ty'Ron Hopper
They robbed the room for Ty'Ron Hopper here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick206 Rnd6 Richard Jibunor
They talked themselves into Richard Jibunor at slot 206, and the board did not agree. It fits a board better than it fits this team.
Pick249 Rnd7 Elijah Simmons
A big swing on Elijah Simmons at pick 249, well ahead of any board in the building. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
