A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bears to a B-. The war room fell hard for Graham Mertz, and it showed at Round 7, Pick 24: 125 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
Landing Martinez that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.
