The Dolphins let Thornton Jr. fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. The board owed the Dolphins one, and it paid up: Dont'e Thornton Jr., the No. 180 name on the board, sitting there at slot 231 like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
The cost of the Hawes reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Winston Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
